What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Help with daily routines (mealtimes, toileting, nap times, and transitions)
  • Work alongside qualified staff to plan and deliver age appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • You will help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment, follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
  • Build positive relationships with children and parents

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will also complete your apprenticeship training, gather evidence for your portfolio, attend workshops, and work towards the required early years qualification.

How the Apprentices will train: training will take place at work or at college.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

To become a full time early years educator or a similar role.
